We are David and Carmela, an American-Brazilian couple who has chosen to live our lives as citizens of the world.

GoGoByeBye grew out of a simple conviction: that the best life is one lived in motion. Not the frantic Instagram version of travel — rushing through attractions to collect photos — but slow, curious, open-eyed exploration of places that deserve more time than a long weekend.

David is from the United States; Carmela is from Brazil. Together we have lived in France, traveled extensively through Europe, Asia, and South America, and learned — mostly the hard way — what it actually takes to make a life abroad rather than just visiting it.
