Burough Market has 1000 years of history. A few decades ago it was a wholesale market for the greengrocers of South London. Now it is a market full of produce that tourists and locals enjoy, along with many restaurants and drinking establishments to relax before, after or durning your shopping. It has become a tourist attraction and this weekend it was a bit too crowded for my taste but I would come back during the week.
